Schunk EGS - Rotary gripping module with parallel gripper in 2 variations
Variants: Variant 40-N-N-B
Compact electric gripper‑swivel module for precise gripping and fast rotational positioning.
The SCHUNK EGS combines a 2‑finger parallel gripper with an integrated electric swivel unit in one compact housing. A smooth, roller‑guided jaw mechanism ensures high precision, while adjustable gripping force (2–4 levels depending on size) and four‑step speed control enable safe handling of sensitive parts. With almost no wear components, the EGS achieves very high cycle rates and offers long service life.
The unit is controlled via digital I/Os for quick commissioning and easy integration into existing systems. Standardized mounting bores support modular combination, and optional sensors allow status monitoring of gripping and swivel motions. The electric design eliminates external pneumatics, reducing setup effort.
Ideal for compact assembly cells, electronics handling, lab automation and pick‑and‑place tasks requiring both rotation and precise gripping.
