Automated growing of vegetables and herbs

The FARMIONIC team has set itself the task of developing a container system that grows vegetables and herbs fully automatically on several levels inside. The system is designed inside a container.

In addition to a robot that independently handles all tasks from seed planting to harvesting, the container is equipped with a system for intelligent control of climate, light, fertiliser and water. In this way, the environmental conditions can be controlled and individually adjusted to the plants grown. The container system is complemented by a cloud-based solution for monitoring (by means of sensors and cameras) and an analysis of all system processes around the health status of the cultivated plants in order to optimise plant growth and energy consumption.
