To be able to sort floor mats and carry them from A to B, VICIM uses an igus line gantry consisting of a Y and Z axis. The Y-axis consists of: drylin® ZLW-20200 toothed belt axis, toothed belt tension 700 N, feed 144 mm/rev, aluminum profile, surface: hard anodized, PU toothed belt with stainless steel tension, white, guide carriage in length 200 mm, cross beams made of aluminum, driven by an igus stepper motor in size NEMA24 with encoder and gear (i=5:1). The Z-axis consists of: drylin® GRR-20120 cantilever axis, AWMR hollow shafts, feed rate: 72.26 mm/rev, aluminum shafts, guide carriage in length 100 mm, incl. adjustable housing bearings, aluminum cross beams, driven by an igus stepper motor in size NEMA24 with encoder & brake Due to the pneumatic end effector, the floor mats are also easily tightened and thus hold a longer distance without the robot dropping the mats.
