Deep freeze vending machine

Seco's frozen food vending machine, the seco°mat, has a digital control unit. It enables operators to offer various payment systems such as EC, credit card, RFID or ApplePay. In addition, the display can be used for digital advertising. The customer has a shopping basket function and digital information fields for specifying allergens and ingredients.

By integrating the APIRO modular gearbox, several challenges could be solved at the same time:

- The maintenance effort was minimised - The longevity was maximised - The costs compared to comparable kinematics were significantly reduced

Due to the strong worm gear, the opening of the cooling area could be integrated into the process, thus saving another mechanism.
